Qualification : Prof. Behera has Honours Degrees in Mechanical Engineering, M.Tech in Industrial Engineering & Operations Management, MBA (HR & Operations Management), and has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) in Management. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. in Management at Sri Sri University, with research focused on, HR Analytics and Supply Chain Management Integration.
Specialization : Prof. Behera possesses multidisciplinary expertise spanning Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Quality Management, Business Research, Quantitative Techniques, and Production Management. His teaching philosophy emphasizes bridging theoretical concepts with practical industry applications, thereby fostering analytical and managerial competence among students.
Prof. Manoj Kumar Behera is an accomplished academician and management educator with over 15 years of teaching experience in Management and Engineering education. He currently serves as Professor in the domain of Quantitative Techniques and Operations Management, contributing extensively to MBA, BBA, and Executive MBA programmes.
Prior to academia, he gained professional experience in reputed organizations including Larsen & Toubro (L&T) and Sarvesh Refractories Ltd., where he worked in engineering, quality control, and project execution roles, including contribution to a prestigious defence infrastructure project associated with INS Arihant.
He has published research in peer-reviewed journals and actively participates in national and international conferences, faculty development programmes, and academic workshops. In addition to teaching and research, he has held several academic leadership and administrative roles, including Head of Department, Examination In-Charge, and Curriculum Coordinator.
